The Purpose Of Gujarat Government Chhatralay Admission Scheme 2022
Students studying in Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (Bakshipanch) and Economically Backward Classes in Medical, Engineering, Pharmacy Degree, Diploma, Bachelor of Arts and Commerce, Postgraduate, Higher Courses as well as Std. 11-12 in all streams.
Criteria and Eligibility For Gujarat Government Chhatralay Admission Scheme 2022
- Fresh (new) student applying for admission should have got 60% or more marks in last year’s annual examination and renewal (old) student should have got 90% or more marks in last year’s annual examination.
- Annual income limit for male and female students is Rs. 2.50 lakhs. Priority should be given to low income students for female students.
- The student applying for admission should be a native of Gujarat.
- Local students of the city where the hostel is located will not get admission.
- Admission will be given only to the student who gets admission in the college of the area where the hostel is located.
- Admission to hostel will not be possible on the basis of distance learning courses.
- Admission will be given to the first renewal students keeping in view the valid number of hostels and the capacity of the hostel building. Fresh students will then be admitted on merit basis to the vacant seats.
- The age of the student applying for admission should not be more than 25 years on the first day of July of the year of application.
